It has been 2 months now since we moved into our home built by Brian and Stacy Thomas from Affordable Stick Built Homes (ASBH). We absolutely love our new home! 

From beginning negotiations, to the finishing touches on our 1863 house plan, Brian and Stacy were a joy to work with. In spite of an unexpected lawsuit by an unhappy neighbor (this had nothing to do with AFSB), Brian and Stacy helped us through some very difficult times and reassured us each step of the way. They not only specialize in building homes, but in building relationships as well! This became evident while staying in almost daily contact with both Brian and Stacy during each phase of construction, and while working with their friendly and professional sub-contractors. I was most impressed with Brian's direct involvement and his willingness to make adjustments as needed during the building process. The final product is not just another boxy looking house, but a beautiful, well-built home. 

We could have chosen another builder, but I'm convinced that we made the right choice in selecting Brian and Stacy Thomas at ASBH. This is our retirement home, but if we were to build again, we would definitely select ASBH and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great home building experience.

Thank you so much for making our dream come true - we love our new "dream" home! We spoke to many builders in the area and decided Affordable Stick Built Homes was the best fit for us. 

We are so grateful that this was a hassle-free endeavor which we attribute to Affordable Stick Built Homes' high business standards. Communication between Brian and Stacie Thomas always went smooth with quick responses to our questions and concerns during the building process. Brian always kept us updated on the sub-contractor's schedules and made frequent visits to the site to assure that everything was completed to his standards and to make sure we were satisfied. Brian's proficiency in building is evident and we were pleased with his opinions and recommendations he offered for various configurations of the layout of our plans. ASBH is very easy to work with as far as personal wants and wishes. Change orders were easily made and sub-contractors were all polite and courteous. The construction debris was kept to a minimum and in central locations which made clean up a breeze. Brian maintains a tight schedule and follows up to make sure the sub-contractors adhere to it. We were able to spend Christmas in our new home. We put a large sum of cash down and we still gained equity in our home due to Affordable Stick Built Homes' affordable pricing.

“Brian involved me in every aspect of the permit process”

Our search for a retirement home began in the fall of 2008. We were looking for property to build on, or an already existing house. We looked at many houses and potential building .sites. We also talked with many builders but couldn't find the right fit.

We finally found some property we liked in January 2009 and soon after discovered Brian Thomas and his company, Affordable Stick Built Homes. His product was by far the best of the many we had looked at. The construction was first rate and the finish was impeccable. The first time I walked into the model home in Rainier, Oregon I was so impressed with all aspects of the house that I knew we wouldn't be happy with anything less and the price was definitely right. Brain and his staff were so nice and accommodating at every tum that we knew we were in very capable and honest hands.

In the spring of 2009 we started building. Brian involved me in every aspect of the permit process, personally handling most of the details and letting me know when I was needed for a signature or fee payment. The whole process was seamless. As the building progressed Brian again made sure I was included in every step of the construction. All of
his sub-contractors on the project were very thorough, competent, professional, and friendly. They always listened to us and made every effort to accommodate our requests as did Brian. The whole project was completed without a hitch and we were in the house the 16th of September 2009.

We have been in the house now for almost 2 years and love the house more everyday. Everyone who has seen the house loves it. I have recommended Brian's Company to many potential buyers and have been more than pleased to be able to do that. If any potential customer of Brian's has a chance to read this recommendation I can honestly say that I don't think you can go wrong with Brian and Affordable Stick Built Homes.

Rick and I would like to take the time to thank you and your staff for a very enjoyable building experience. We had such a difficult time through the lending process which delayed our start time to breaking ground but as soon as this happened, Affordable Stick Built pulled through to get the home up quickly and efficiently. There are always going to be small hiccups along the way but with the open communication this allowed us to feel like that these would be resolved quickly and they were. Building our home for our children to grow up in is the best feeling ever and to have experienced builder like Brian made this possible. Everyone who has seen our new home have been amazed on the quality and care that was put into it.
